Neograptines with slender tubarium, wide, rounded proximal end lacking spines except for commonly elongated virgella, geniculum rounded, proximal development of pattern C astogeny, median septum strongly undulate, thecae long, with double sigmoidal shape, without intrathecal folds, and with straight horizontal apertures
